Default Password problem with new car DVD.?

I just installed a in-dash DVD player with a screen and everything works pretty fine. But when I gonna insert a DVD movie, the stereo says "insert Password". I have already gone through the manual and can't find anything about passwords or something like that. I am totally confused and have no idea whats going on.

Please help me to get rid of this problem.

or better yet, go to a shop who isn't confused and has an idea what's going on.

i'd do this as a last resort. why throw money at it, and you will throw money at it by taking it to a random shop, if you don't have too. if i have a problem with an alpine amp once i have checked everything i can i am going to call their free tech support and see if they have any ideas. no one knows a product better than the people who made it.

I have this same problem with my clarion lol. It only happens with unrated DVDs dunno y guess just part of its character. Its lasted me 5 years now, I love it. When the screen prompts me to put in a password its all 0's. So it asks me for a 4 letter/number code then i hit 4 ZEROS not the letter O. Hope this helps good luck man.
