Ive got two radios in my car. the eclipse is for radio, cds, and output of the pioneer, and the pioneer is in there because it has the ipod/iphone control and it also charges my iphone too.

i have one and it works perfectly with my 3g. even has it's own remote with steering wheel mount to control the music wireless. with our cig lighter position you can adjust it to be at an angle facing you but out of the way of the radio controls.
I had a similar set up though when i didnt have an in-dash screen. Had a Panasonic deck up top and a single din DVD player in the bottom which ran to my visor screens.
Honestly though go read some reviews on the new Kenwood Excelon gear. They are beating a lot hands down. I am running the new 9140 and some people think it is overpriced but i am happy with it.
