Default My home made camera mount

Well i been making a in car camera mount.
After thinking i decided to do white lettering with all black (to match my car)

The letter is paint, no stickers.

I took a few pictures cause i was excited. The finish hasn't even cured yet, so i will get some more with the mount on it and also with the camera on it too. It attaches to the pass. head rest.

Lemme know what u think, i like it though. Guess thats all that counts lol

/\ part facing outside looking at windshield.

/\ as if u are sitting the the back seat

/\ up close front

the viper seats were standard.
the air bag or "fat man" seats were optional. and you paid extra for them btw.

I should have swapped my "fat man" seats with my brother-in-law for his viper seats when he traded in his car

What does it mount to??? And how is it held steady and such??

Here is my mount:

You need a sunroof, it mounts to the oh shit grab rails. I heard that the non-sun roof cars have the holes behind the head liner. It mounts to the OEM holes, do they have rules on how or where it mounts??

I'd say it's custon and a very clever idea. I have one I fabbed up myself also. Not nearly as nice but it works for non sunroof versions. Kinda like a tripod that mounts from the front seat bolts and to one of the rear seat belt mount bolts (rear bottom seat cover gets taken out).

Here is how mine hooks up. I didnt hook the camera up for the picture. Im also getting a small click sound when i hit bumps from it, but i got an idea on what making the noise ill take care of that tomorrow or something.

Its sturdy when no one is in the seat. But someone sits in the seat, the mount wont move at all. Good think about this is, if its that bad, i can move the mount over to my side of the car

Also the U screws are still wrong color. I'm trying to find shorter one, onces i do i will also paint them to patch.

Thank you, lol i was gonna go from driver to pass , post to post. It was 3 ft long. I sat back and looked at it, and some draw backs to it tho, also looks very weird to me. So i did it like this, nice clean and small. I need to find some 1" square end caps. If anyone knows where i can get some please link me
