Default kenwood deck, stock kicker sub amp

so i took out the stock stereo and installed a kenwood deck. i plugged in the adapter but there was an extra one, a smaller square shapped plugin. im used to the red and white for the sub but there was none so i lft it unplugged. the stereo works, it plays but now the sub doesnt go, so is there some sort of adapter or something for the sub to convert it to red and white imput? i went to best buy and they mentioned something about an rca harness? i just want some bass. thanx for the help

The entire kicker system (including the subwoofer) is tied in the regular harness, there shouldn't be any extra connections in order to make everything work. The only thing that should not work when you switch to an aftermarket headunit is the 6 disk changer.

Did you hook up the remote wire for the factory amp?

Like someone said you need to hook the remote wire up the factory sub is tied into the factory wiring and there is nothing extra at all to hook up
the extra plug you had was for the cd changer that was staring you in the face right below the radio
did you at least use a harness or did you do something stupid and cut the factory plug off?

Im pretty sure you do to right??
If you do or ever have youd REALLY be suprised at the stupid shit people do when they decide to do things themselves because "it cant be that hard"

just like the people with newer chevy's or dodges and refuse to buy the 100 dollar harness to do the install the right way

I wasnt trying to be harsh to the OP BTW I was really just curious

OP if you need help send me a pm and I will help you out
