Where is the end result. Please if anyone knows him please tell him to post this up and add the pics. This is a sic set-up man I would love to own something like this one of these days. Like someone had said before you should start making these in bundles and become a vendor. These would sell like crazy! I'm very interested to see what finally happened to this. Thanks.
Nice job and setup....You can do alot with that big case!
Don't know how many will remember, but I did this 2 years ago.....it got old (since I'm a network engineer by trade and tend to get sick of seeing computers after work) and ended up selling the whole setup to a member in Va.

Wish I could put my Q6600 Quad core in my car! But it overheats at 3.51ghz in my Antec 900 right now, can't imagine in a smaller case with less air flow. Maybe I could experiment with an overclocked E8400.
Liquid or peltier cool it. In my house I built a P4D 965 Extreme Edition, that runs solid @ 4.5Ghz/core, but I have a 800W Peltier cooler with liquid cooling on top. My chip runs idle @ -50F, and full load is around 25F.
If you didn't want the heat in the car, you could run the radiator under the car, or in the front even.

$$ goes to car not the computer. I'm happy with my Q6600 at 3.51ghz.

Great install work and all, but I personally don't see why someone would need a computer in the car I mean, I got these cars because they are cheap and fun to drive, not surf and write a resume. To each his own, I guess. The install looks great tho

It's so some one can have GPS, itunes up, Documents, Sick sound cards with great sound imaging options, etc. There are a lot of reasons other than surfing the net to get a laptop. For each their own.

Well think about it, how many times do you print out directions? A dude could just have them up on his screen instead of having a piece of paper that is flying around every time you turn. I don't know, not really worth the effort for myself, but it has its uses.
