How to disable factory alarm? Going off randomly ...

My car: 2005 ACR with a factory alarm. No aftermarket what so ever.

I searched to see if anyone else has this problem and found nothing. If i lock my car which has a completely stock factory alarm ... it will start going off at various times. It will happen in ten minutes, or an hour, or in the middle of the night. I checked the door sensors and they seemed okay, plus i get no lights coming on or anything while driving. ( as if the door was opening ) . I disconnected the auto trunk switch to see if it was that. Battery voltage is fine.

I cant find a how to anywhere on turning this alarm off ... i am perfectly fine with locking and unlocking the car manually.This getting up at 3am thing sucks to turn off an alarm ... any help?

Im sure im missing a few things since im writing this quick at work but this is killing me, and before i go to a wiring diagram ... i figured someone on here would be able to chime in.

i also forgot to add that i swapped trunks from a 00 and the wiring/latch cable werent the same. i thought i figured it out, but the trunk light stayed on all the time. maybe its possible that the car thinks the trunk keeps popping open. i guess i should really search for a wiring diagram of a 00 and 05 and compare.

Take it to the dealer and get them to turn off the factory alarm

disable the alarm as the last resort...since you said the thing about the trunk, i would assume thats it(well at least test it first)...how did you re-attach the wiring on the new trunk?
