Default factory 6cd changer question

does anyone know if it is possible to connect factory 6cd changer to an alpine head unit (the one thts made for an ipod)??

I am sure that answered your question.


Your main wires in the changer harness will be:

Power
Ground
Right audio
Left audio
data wire(s) to communicate to factory head unit for changing tracks/discs

looks like a NO lol.. wat if i ll have the plug from the cd changer tht fits tht radio and just wire up the old one??? will this give me any chance of makin it work right??

That is just it, you can get it to power up but you will not be able to perform any functions because the functions are controlled through the factory head unit by data.
