Just got hooked up with a friend that works at StereoTown in Fremont. Did a whole custom trunk job for me for 7 bills. Its got Blue LED accent lights, I supplied my own equipment, and all new wiring.
Equipment includes 2 sony monoblock amps, 1 4-channel amp, 2 sony 12" subs, 2 capacitors, sony 6x9s in the rear and sony component speakers in the doors.
what do ya think?

you can take your grocery getter and have all the fun you want. ive had many cars, and aquired my taste according to my expirience. this is my 59th car. id say ive had the experience to aquire i good taste like my lambo doors and z3 fenders.
come on... no need to be negative. everyone has a budget and a taste. that is why there are so many brands on the market.
nice clean install. trunk space is over rated imo
the only thing i don't like are the caps... there is no need for them. i would have invested that money in a new battery. it's a long (and sometimes boring) read, but browse it anyways. Why you don't need a capacitor - Realm of Excursion: Forum
I realize the sony equipment's not the best but since I work for sony I literally got it all about 60% off. I paid $525 total out the door for the 2 sony (specialty series) mono-amps, 2 12" subs, the sony 4 channel amp, the highest end sony 6x9's, and the highest end sony indoor component speakers... retail worth over $1100 so im not complaining about the sound. IMO it sounds pretty good.
as for the caps the larger one came with the car when i bought it and i was surprised to see the second one when i picked up my car from the stereo shop. Not sure what made the guy use it but it seems to be a pretty sophisticated setup.
I like it. Is that plexi over the amps in the false floor or are they just sunk in? IM hoping to be able to do something similar with my amps and box (when the box is done over at the boxbuilders) with a false floor.
And really, who needs more than just enough trunk space to store a dead hooker anyways?

Reason: spelling gayness
ya both amps are flush mounted with plexi over them and all three plexi areas have their own led backlighting that makes them glue blue at night. ill take a few night shots tonight.
my cars always been more show then go, i have tons of visual and suspension mods but as much as id like to i cant afford those big turbo mods.
as far as the loud bass stuff goes im not really into that either. i actually have it all tuned way down to allow for just clean low bass to fill the speakers. my eq on the stereo's set to 'vocals' and btw my stereo unit is also a sony indash flipout 7" LCD touchscreen with XM connected and running.
Clean build man. But I agree with most seems like you took a lot of trunk space could have made something that look good without sacrafacing so much trunk space. But nice!!!! Same here ill stick to the stock radio!!! lol
