Default Car Battery Changed - Radio Dead

Hey guys, quick question for you. One of my co-workers has a nineties Maxima that just encountered this problem. The battery simply died, he replaced it, and now the radio no longer works? What do you guys think it could be? Simple fuse? Any info is appreciated as I am not an electronics guy.

Check the fuse un the car, then the fuse on the stereo (most aftermerket have one) if not, try a different stereo.

Don't you have to imput a code on those radios in order for them to work?

go to the shop that installed it, they deal with tons of cars...they may be aware of issues with aftermarket stereos that you are not
