Default boost gauge mount

I saw a boost gauge mounted behind the steering wheel (sort of like the Evos) do you think it would be possible to do with the stock gauge and pod or would I need a different housing? Has anyone else done this?
Thanks

It may be able to be done, but IMO would look like shit. There are pods out there IIRC that will accomplish what you are looking to do, however for ease of installation, I would recommend going with an electronic gauge v. the mechanical stocker.
