you need one more harness man, If I'm reading you right, you need one that goes from that one to the factory connection

you should be able to figure that out by looking at the pin diagram.

did you cut your stock harness behind the radio?? if not you should just plug in the aftermarket harness and match the colors to the aftermarket deck that you have.. if i understood you correctly

you need one more harness, you need the harness that goes to the factory harness, and has bare wires on the rear side, that then connects to the harness that comes out of your new head unit... don't go cutting yo8ur factory harness!!!!

Dont be a dumb ass and cut your factory harness to connect your stereo. Just buy a 20 dollar harness the connects to the factory one.

In all you will have 2 harnesses to connect your stereo.
Trust me trust me trust me you will be much better off in the long run. I have had atleast 7 different stereos in my cars and if I had to cut the wires each time I would have nothing left to connect it.

I have a buddy who had his stereo installed by a shitty shop that cut the harness. 3 years later he asked me to help install his new stereo. It took me hours and hours to figure out what wires were what even after downloading a wiring chart for the car.

Dont be lazy do it the right way.

Just did my HU install and the pin diagram is the way to go. Just hold the paper in the proper orientation, same as the wires enter the back of the oem radio.

A. Wiring harness (already in dash)---->B. aftermarket harness (A plugs into B) ------>C. aftermarket harness (connect wires of B to C using pin diagram posted on forums) -----> D. Plug C into aftermarket head unit

Make sure you get
1. radio tuner adapter
2. Correct aftermarket wiring harness*
3. Dash install kit (one without the small azz tray in it)

1-3 available at Best Buy, Tweeter, etc.

Anyone know why there are 2 grounds, 2 positives, and one ignition/one radio "on" wires (same thing) on the harness you buy, which hooks onto the factory side? It is confusing me... as of right now, I just double it up into the Pioneer harness but I'm not sure if it is correct...

each receiver is different and each is designed to be wired different....... the only explanation i can offer is that you may be using the wrong harness...... good luck!
