There should be a "How to" on this in the "How to" section...

I dont think you have to buy any harness to hook up just speakers.

you have 2 options. buy a set of connectors that plug into the factory plug, then wire that to the speakers. cut the factory plug off and use the bare wires (preferably with terminal ends on them) to connect to the speakers.

option 3: tap speaker wires onto the existing factory wiring without cutting off the plug, either by way of soldering or stripping a bit of the wire, poking a hole through, wrapping the bare end of new speaker wire through hole, and tape well.

so just match up the colors. And there are 4 wires on the factory harness now but only 2 are connected to the harness the other 2 look like they have been cut. is that normal

Not trying to be a dick, but you should either have someone who is experienced with the car do it or take it to a reputable shop and have it done.

the wires DO NOT match color for color and you will have to either get the plug adapter from a store and just plug them in or test the wires for polarity and then go from there with hooking them up...

either way, do it right and dont just start cutting plugs off, that is the dumbest thing that you can do.
