Default 6disc changer delete?

So I keep hearing that the 6disc changer runs on a proprietary connection to the OEM head unit. I understand that completely. What I want to know is what do I put in the empty space where the unit used to be? Is there a piece I can order to "delete" the changer? Where can I find this piece and what is the part number? Thanks in advance for the help. I have faith that you guys can give me the best answer on this question.

By the way, I am not a car audio guy... I simply want to replace the ugly ass stock deck with something a little more stylish. I will leave the rest of my Livin' Loud system in tack with little or no change. I also intend to let the pros install my deck.

Thanks again!

You don't have to replace the CD changer when you put an aftermarket radio in.
