Default Which 6.5" spacer for component set?

So I picked up some PG RSD6.5cs the other day which Ive read great things on. Problem is they are kinda deep so I know I need a spacer. I checked on ebay for 6.5" spacers and there were two... one was angled and one was straight. Im a little lost knowing which to get.

Any help? Also any good place to get them?
Thanks

6½" Speaker Adapters for 2001-2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser - eBay (item 310050185196 end time Aug-10-08 14:48:15 PDT)

i got a set of those a while back and they did the trick. the only thing i had to do was slightly shorten the longest of the 3 moounting post things. it was just a hair too long to let it sit flush. well that and add another small wooden spacer ring as my type-x comps were still touching the window.

interesting. they arent thick are all (read thin). Hmm, these but maybe .5" thick would be nice. How deep are your comps? I wanna compare them to the RSDs I just got

Thanks

not exactly sure, and if i can help it i will never be taking off the door panels again. i think i am approaching 20 times over the last few months. i was running alpine spr-17ls and changed to spx-177r. the spr just barely cleared the window with those spacers so i threw in the extra wooden ring spacer just to be safe with the spx-177r.

So I test fit the PG comps I have and they clear the window. I was thinking of reusing the plasic ring in the door. Any issues with using this as its plastic and not wood? Would make life easier for me but if it sucks may not be worth it.

Already began applying the dynamat everywhere else!

Thanks

put a layer of dynamat between the spacer and the door to help with rattles and you should be fine.
