1 blown Kicker Livin' Loud 6x9.

Hey all,

About a years ago I bought the rear Kicker 6x9's from a guy off the forums and the speakers worked great up until this morning. One of the 6x9's seem to have blown (poping/cracking sound when music is playing). Can I goto a local store and buy a replacement speaker or do I need to replacement both with new ones?

You have a few options (in no specific order):

- Mopar Super Center - Mopar-Kicker Rear 6x9 Speaker Upgrades

-A dealer, but personally I avoid them as much as possible.

- Jimmy (http://www.srtforums.com/forums/members/13897.html) at index as he can just about get his hands on anything OEM.

- Used from the forums or classifieds.

- New aftermarket 6x9 rear speakers

Thanks guys. Going to pull the old speaker out and check it first. I dont see how it could have blown as I dont listen to my music that loud. Maybe a screw came lose and fell into the cone as I've had some odd rattle back there for a while. Funny thing I noticed this morning the rattle is gone..

Speakers can blow from a number of things, not just overpowered or overwhelmed.
