Default Working on a better URL name...

Alright.. So, Soon I will be getting my own business license and such. Now I am trying to come up with a better URL than what I currently have..

The one I really want is taken... kinda makes me mad because the place sucks in my opinion.. Parkerphotography.com [I think there is a NSFW banner at the bottom of that site that comes up sometimes]. The site hasn't been updated since October of 2006... and the domain doesn't run out till 2012... which its been used since 1998.

I've thought about TonyParkerPhotography.com, But... that is to long of an address in my opinion.. though it would be easy to remember.

Another idea that I have been kicking around is TParkerPhotography.com.. I just worry that people will forget the T and end up at that other guys site.

And the last option is just sticking with ParkerPhotog.com. Its short, though sometimes not easy to remember the Photog part. It would also fit better on a business card...

What do yall think? I actually just sent the guy a ParkerPhotography an email today.. But I doubt I will hear anything back honestly.

I'm also open to new suggestions if anyone has one.

Do you want to use your name ... I mean why don't you make something cool like "FlashPointPhotography" or something catchy related to photography?

Well, because in photography.. You are really trying to sell yourself.

With something like that.. The will remember the name of the business rather than me. And since its really just going to be me doing this.. Then they need to remember me.

Thats what i was gonna say. Do you really feel the need to put "photographer" in the URL? Most photographers just use their name.

TonyParker is taken.

Im starting to think about sticking with Parkerphotog. But I am still on the wire about it.

I need the name of the website to relate to the actual Business name which would be Parker Photography most likely.

I have "Torqued Aperture".. which I shorten to TA Photo (for the domain name)... TA also happens to be my first two initials.

so that all works out.. and I do not even have the slightest clue as to how I even came up with it.

Think of something along those lines maybe?

I really don't like the name Parkerphotog, doesn't seem professional to me. When I got my domain Monrealphotography was taken, so I ended up using MonrealStudio.com which I ended up loving more than my first choice.. ParkerStudio sounds nice, and I liked TPphotography. When you think about your domain name think about how it would look as a logo. That's just my opinion!

Im still leaning towards PhotographyByParker... but then thats just 2 characters shorter than TonyParkerPhotgraphy.com

I assumed it was by the starting point guard for the SA Spurs...and husband of Eva Longoria.

But it's actually not.

I say: TParkphotography.com
