saw it for around 850 bux online here ... Nikon D5000 Black 12.3 Megapixels Digital SLR Camera - D5000OUTFIT ... so this camera will let you use the lcd screen to see what your shooting instead of looking through the eye piece? Makes me wanna sell my D60 for it cuz i wanna take some HD video too - sounds cool
But where is the D90 better than this D5000??
I can't find anything...
the D5000 is just a little different looking and some fancy flip screen! any quality difference?
they are both 12.3mp,
and also small sensor
I can buy the D90 here for: € 699,-
the D5000 would cost me: € 649,-
Not that much of a difference.. but I still can't figure out why the 5000 is placed under the 90?!?! Trinity??
btw: have the D60 right now. but have to share it with my bro... so looking for another cam! Only need the body. cause I have a 18-200 and later on will find myselfe some other lenses!

D90 has a larger (3" vs 2.7" and higher res(920K vs. 230K) screen
D90 will AF screw driven lenses
D90 will act as a CLS controller
Larger viewfinder
That is just what I thought of off the top of my head.
i just really like the D5000 ... YouTube - Nikon D5000 hands on preview by What Digital Camera but most of the comments suggest the D90 is much better also... nobody has really showed a video clip though cuz i'm interested in the HD video even if its just 720p cuz i want a video camera as well... and if i can get something comparable to what i have in a DSLR like the D60 plus an HD camera in one... then it should be a no brainer right?
