Default A little advice.

I'm really interested in photography and love looking at the pictures you guys take. I don't have $2,000 to spend on a great camera, so all I have to work with is a Canon PowerShot A590 IS digital and some editing programs. Adobe offers a 30 day trial version of photoshop cs4, which I sucked at. I've been using what's called photoscape, which isn't horrible but not great either. I figured I would attach some photos, both non edited and edited just to get some advice on what I could change, any color balances that need changes, contrasts, etc. I'm not here to be told to go somewhere else because my work sucks, so if you're going to judge me, just leave. I'm here to get some friendly advice/tips. Thanks for any help.

Plain, no editing.

Some editing through photoscape.

Like I said, let me know what needs to be done different. I know I won't be able to get as great of quality as you guys with those great cameras or with photoshop skills, so I work with what I can. I just want to learn how to bring more color out, make it look at least half way decent and something people, as well as myself, may enjoy looking at. Thanks again guys.

You need to frame your pictures up differently. Get better angles and background.

Also crop your stuff differently. There is a lot of wasted space like the excess asphalt. Come in a little tighter on things.

Im real tired right now.. So I may further explain things in the morning.

Also, it is kind of hard telling someone how to edit when they use a different program.

It was just a quick few shots before I went into work. Haven't had much time to go to a different spot. But I noticed the background isn't that great after I got done editing.

I'll have to remember to tighten things up for next time.

Thanks again. Any more advice you can think of and give would be great.

You have a black car, and you drove to a place where the background is white...

You want some more color's in your pictures... well drive to a field of grass, bushes, trees at different times of the day, evening sun, morning sun, noon... blue sky's

If you want color.. look for it

on the editing.. it is hard to tell you just what parker said...

but some little advise... don't go crazy!!! :P sometime's those programs stimulate you to go on and on... but the result will be like overdone!!!

first edit is to bright.. second one is nice... no big mistakes in my opinion...
Take more shot's keep the ISO's low and you'll be good...

Looking forward to your next posts

I'm thinking of just using my VHT Nightshades and black them out. Easier than paying for new corners
