Very nice...I like the first one the best. Also, I think the second one would look better with a different crop.

EDIT: you could probably get away with cropping more (example for me, I'd crop more of the bottom) but I didn't want to do too much cropping, as I don't know what aspects of the picture you like most.

EDIT: (again...LOL)

Wow it does look alot better, didn't really notice how much empty space was added by the sky.. Was mainly trying to keep the fountain off center and tried to use the little podium(sp?) to add some depth to the photo..

I really like the first crop you did.. The only thing I don't like about croping more out of the walkway is because of the lights on it, I love how they look shining across the walkway.

Thanks, Shot in Rome, GA at the Forum.. kinda of a place where they do alot of events.. proms.. shows.. etc. They just recently built the fountain in front of it, so I figured it'd be a good time to test out my tripod and my mom had just picked up this lens.. 24mm wideangle f/2.8 so of course I had to borrow it Except the bottom pic was taken with a Sigma 70-300 lens from a bridge near by

That is why I didn't crop as much off of the bottom originally...Like I said I wasn't sure what aspects you really liked, and didn't want to take away too much.

I like the way the light flows over the sidewalk too...but there is just so much more...darkness around it(if that makes any sense), that just doesn't add anything to the pic IMO. Though I'd agree, the 2nd crop that I posted it probably cropped to much. I was just trying to suggest that you play around with the cropping. It's a good picture that could be made better with the right crop, IMO.

Yea I see what you mean about there being too much darkness, there is a whole lot in the right corner...which really is a bad spot to have useless space. Now since you brought that to my attention, I'm gonna have to agree with you on the second crop just for the simple fact it cuts alot of it off.
