I was a big fan of this business taking my cars there for years.
Today on the advise of both myself and our official machanic, My mother took her car there to get a diagnosis as required by our insurance company. I had called friday and was nicely advised to have the Owner Tony take care of her first thing in the morning as he was the most qualified.
She went in today by herself. Rather than simply telling her that he did not want to do it, Tony proceeded to yell and verbally abuse her to the point where she was in tears. I had to calm her down over the before she could even drive home.
I will never return there and never recommend anyone to ever return.
He went on and on about how he didn't want to come to work at 6am everday adn blah blah blah. If Tony is so upset being at work so early and running the business he should have closed up shop a long time ago and not unloaded on 5'2", 57 year old ladies looking for Help!

Guys if you can spread the word to boycott this shop I would appreciate it. Being a trainned mechanic myself, it pisses me off to see mechanics take advantage let alone ever make ANY customer especially a woman feel that horrible.
Maybe I can help ony get his wish of not having to be at work so early or ever again.

i think what the OP is doing is way smarter. taking away his buisness will hurt him worse in the long run rather than a brick through a window or a fist to the face.

youd be surprised. for every one person that has a good experience at that shop, that person will tell maybe 1-2 other people
for every one person that has a bad experience, they will tell 5-6 people
or atleast thats what every corporate store i have ever worked at has told me.
i agree though, it would def be hard to keep my temper from getting the best of me if i was the OP

Oh Trust me if I was able to get there I would have and I still may go. I went as far as to call my boss and see if I could get back in town early. Since I cant get there a soon as I would liek I figure the best place to hurt people is in the pocket. I am still trying to see if he is part of a business bureau or associations and I will luanch formal complaints there. I wished I had been home so I could have taken her car myself!

I agree with this post x 100. Its great to go in an flex your cahones, but if they get shot off with a sawed off shotgun, then who is laughing?
Any decrease in automotive sales in this day & age will hurt huge.
