Bell RX65.
OK, first things first; you're dead wrong if you honestly think your ticket is under $200.00!!!!
If you get convicted on this( 3 points AND speeding) you can bet your bottom $dollar$ that your insurance will go up, and stays up for 3 years from date of conviction, so in essence that ticket will be closer to a couple of $grand$ than a couple of hundred bucks!
Some on here will tell you to fight it, and I fully suggest you do, however I would NOT fight it myself in court, go to a reputable traffic agent and have them represent your case.
These guys are in court all the time and they get to know certain judge's demeanor along with the crown, so you stand the best chance of having it reduced to at least a fine/no points ( so it does NOT show up on your abstract).

Your insurance deems ( wrongly in my books) you to be a higher risk than someone that has NO speeding convictions, so they feel justified to add that additional risk in inflated premiums $$ for the next 3 years!
I have had my share of tickets, and have always turned them over to X Coppers with 75% positive results.
Oh by the way, paying the ticket is "admission of guilt" so points will be added as per undisputed charge.
Here in Ontario, you only have a short period of time to make your intentions clear, whether you intend to dispute it or plead "no contest" and pay the fine, so if you intend to dispute it, more than likely you must follow up and register your intent.
It should tell you a time frame on this on the back of the ticket
4 years ago, I was on my way to pick someone up in Hagersville, broad daylight, sunny, clear.... I was late, and on this stretch of road I got on it,( not a car in sight) keeping it short, I got clocked at 170ish KM....
x Copper dealt that case for me...Ian, senior agent appeared on my behalf won that case outright!
He demanded to see the latest corrected tests on the gun's accuracy. Cop told him he did not have that data at hand, and could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that his measuring tool was in fact working correctly, the fact I pleaded not guilty to the initial charge, there was no conviction of any kind, with the whole thing costing me $300, because it was out of town!
And while I'm on this: ANY moving violation involves points,

if you get hit for anything moving... FIGHT IT!!!
