Sneak peak of some upgrades - Modified Intake Manifold
Stopped by Evolution to check up on my car which is coming along quite nicely. These had just come back from porting, the head replacing the failed cylinder head that someone else had ported out too aggressively. Sorry the pics aren't better.
Intake manifold ported and modified for to remove any restriction, this is matched up for the Boomba throttlebody.
1MM oversize intake/exhaust, valve job work, the rest reused components from the original BC valvetrain in the head. BC Stage 2's cams. Car is a daily driver when not on the hoist.
70mm Boomba? What size is the inlet on the intake. The work goes out nicely beyond the inside bend on the inlet of the intake...Head looks very nice...Starting your winter build a little early aren't you?

70MM Boomba, yep. I haven't measured the inlet, its probably not far off. The throttle body was provided at the same time to get the best possible match. I was pretty shocked when I saw the work and then looked at a stock manifold for reference, shame I didn't have another to take a picture to compare to.
Originally I didn't intend on it being a winter build, but the damage from the failed head sort of bumped things forward....or back depending on your point of view! With any lucky another 2-3 weeks but I keep finding little things to do. I'm sure they are going to shoot me at some point...well them or the wife!
