I did a search on this and oddly enough, I didn't find anything.
I was wondering how all you fellow Canadians manage to hold HOM with your S3 w/ Toys?
Here (Ottawa), I have yet to see a station offer better then the Sunoco 94. Unfortunately, we need 100+ octane to hold HOM. In the US they have stations that offers 100+ octane at the pump, but not here. So how do you do it.
If I ever go S3 w/ Toys, my plan was to fill it up with Sunoco 94 and use enough NOS race octane booster --> 60 point, 6 octane (in theory) to hold HOM for a bit. I don't like octane boosters but since it would only be occasional, I hope I can get away with it.
Getting big jugs of VP race fuel delivered at my house is not an option.
look around for a race fuel supplier. you can buy a 20 litre can of race gas from your race gas supplier!!!!
My local race gas supplier is 2 blocks away from me so I can get 114 unleaded pretty much anytime I want! Which reminds me, I have to go sometime this week to get some more so I can go back to the track this weekend.

there's also another way to hold HOM is to use water/meth injection.
You ain't going to get meth injection to hold on a forged lower end. Even with 8-1, it will almost impossible. I run pure 114 leaded in my car, even then it's tough to hold it with 25+psi!!!
Fuk your stock motor!!!

I don't believe you!! what's your compression ratio? How much boost?
Honestly, you can ask LifeGuardRob. He was with me, for about a 100miles last night. The car with 8-1's and racegas, was making some seriously sick power. You should hear how it idles and pops now. I finally have a car with no balance shafts, and a underdrive pulley. I did a couple of 3rd gear roll on's at the end of the night. It's downright insane. It's as fast as my stock engine with a 35, on just boost alone. I did other things to the car to improve on it, but man it's pretty stupid. My car backfires like no other now!!!! not m80 quality, half stick quality!!!

Thank you very much!!!
I went to check out the one at Merivale and sure enough, they are selling some 104 octane VP race fuel...at the pump!
That is awsome, I should hold HOM with that.
Thank you again, I've been looking for race gas for a while now, not only for my car but for my motocross too.
EDIT: I wonder what kind of fuel it is? Is it C10?

It's a red one (I've yet to see another red one around). I don't live in Ottawa but I work around St-Laurent.
I'll go check out the other stations to see if they carry it as well.
