Default Right Rear Clunk Is Gone!! (Warranty)

In the last couple of weeks I could hear a clunk in the around the right rear. It kind of sounded like a strut going or something like that, so today when I had the car in getting the snows put on I asked the mechanic that works on my car about it. He fix the problem what it was is the filler tube for the gas tank he said they have had the same problem in a lot of the sx 2.0 and neons and all they do is put some padding on it to keep it from banging.

I did that shortly after getting my car, and it didn't seem to fix the problem.

I'm not saying that it didn't fix your problem, but it didn't fix mine.

I believe it has more to do with the upper spring perch. Mine hasn't made any noise all summer, but now that the cooler weather has returned, it has started again.

Default Good work.

I'm with you Eric.
I had this done as well.
I also got excited for a couple of hours until I realized that it was still clunking. Then I had strut and mount replacement. It's been good for almost a year. Starting to come back. GD cold weater.

It seems to be gone but I haven't had enough time driving it since yesterday. I will know in a couple days.
