Default problems

ok i really need some help here i have some serious overboost problems!!it all started tonight when me and a couple buddies headed off to the VW meet at yorkdale and they head off in front of me..so i give it a little gas to catch up when i realized my lane was comming to an end so i drop a gear to get infront of the guy beside me, when all of a sudden my car spikes to im guessing anywhere around 25 30 and it cuts out ...this has never happend and im honestly freaking out because i have never seen the car even spike past 18, and out of nowhere for it to do this is realy freaking me out...now im not 100% sure what it is but im guessing this could be either my WGA or my blowoff....has this ever happend to anyone or atleast know what it could be??? im scared to even hit boost now, i drove all the way back without hitting boost to make sure it wouldnt do that again.

I had the same problem, and it turned out to be the diaphram ripped on my Forge WGA. Either a hose popped off the WGA, or your WGA is bad. Don't let it boost until this is fixed or engine can go "boom"

Remove your existing WG and install another one( if you have a stock one, it will do) DO NOT reset your CPU or it will go into relearn mode for the next 80 or so KM, and just try that out, it's quite possible your existing WG took a crap! while you're at it, don't bother to reinstall the heat shield just yet... throw it back on AFTER you resolve these issues.
