After getting my car since March 2004, I got my first door ding . There is about 1-2 inch dent near to where you put the gas in, although the paint is still there but it looks smeared. It got hit probably by a high profil car like a van or SUV door. At first, I was stunned and later realized, this is nothing compared to what can happen to the car in the futur. A person can hit it hard and scratch the paint off or even worse a person can use a key or a coin or a sharp object and (...) do a lot of harm or be involved in an accident or hit by a hail storm
That's part of life unless you want be like a bubble boy driving in a bubble car.
I wonder if you have unhappy stories like this to share?
that sucks man...i try to park as far away as possible from anyone else
my girl gets pissed off so many times its not funny....i normally drop her off at the door and tell her im going to park the car..i dont show up for 4-5 mins and shes calling the cell phone "where the hell are u.....blah blah blah...

Dentpro is your friend. I've had them come out twice and you can't even tell there was a ding. Seriously, I was sceptical until they told me I din't have to pay if I wasn't satisfied.
I havent any dings yet, but m sure it will happen. I always park a ways out, but everytime I do theres a piece of S&@% van parked beside me. I mean cmon theres 30 spots around me and some clown has to park right beside me.

That's funny... It reminds of my dad who takes his time to park the car in the restaurant parking lot. By the time, he comes in, soup has already been served and the main course is coming on the table.
You have to be selective to where you park your car. I was pretty selective that day. I parked next to a handicap space as not many people park in the handicap space (on the left of driver's side) and intentionally had my 2 left front and rear tires almost parked closest to the handicap space and passenger side the furthest away from the right side line, but still got hit on the rear end passenger side close to where you put gas in. Anyways, what can you do?
blu and over i know what ur saying my thing is if they park close and i inspect the car at that time if i see a dent/scratch they are getting one as well
