Default Poll: Are you a victim of door ''dings''?

After getting my car since March 2004, I got my first door ding . There is about 1-2 inch dent near to where you put the gas in, although the paint is still there but it looks smeared. It got hit probably by a high profil car like a van or SUV door. At first, I was stunned and later realized, this is nothing compared to what can happen to the car in the futur. A person can hit it hard and scratch the paint off or even worse a person can use a key or a coin or a sharp object and (...) do a lot of harm or be involved in an accident or hit by a hail storm

That's part of life unless you want be like a bubble boy driving in a bubble car.

I wonder if you have unhappy stories like this to share?

Dentpro is your friend. I've had them come out twice and you can't even tell there was a ding. Seriously, I was sceptical until they told me I din't have to pay if I wasn't satisfied.

Victim here as well. Drivers side back door. $125 later after paintless dent removal and its not even noticable anymore.

Can't understand these idiots that don't know how to open a fucking door.

That's funny... It reminds of my dad who takes his time to park the car in the restaurant parking lot. By the time, he comes in, soup has already been served and the main course is coming on the table.

You have to be selective to where you park your car. I was pretty selective that day. I parked next to a handicap space as not many people park in the handicap space (on the left of driver's side) and intentionally had my 2 left front and rear tires almost parked closest to the handicap space and passenger side the furthest away from the right side line, but still got hit on the rear end passenger side close to where you put gas in. Anyways, what can you do?
