They can't put much of a spin on it - this is a very sad story that resulted in a cyclist's death. Totally unneccesary, too. I hope he gets what's coming to him.

ah hahahahahahah nice one jay !

honestly the more info thats coming out about this the more it seems .... well who knows ... like a totally plausable situation

The guy was drunk and driving bicycle ( police were called hours earlier to get him to leave his girlfriends place due to him being drunk and etc. ) then he throws his bike at the guys car and tries to get in.... the guy drives away and probably runs over him in the process.

stupid cyclists..... i've never understood the idea of arguing with a few tons of metal...

"Bryant warned potential racers that all it takes is a tip from police to seize and destroy their cars. Car junkies who pour thousands of dollars into their vehicles to make them as fast as possible are wasting their money, Bryant said.

"If we can establish someone has parts and they're juicing up their car — obviously for the purpose of street racing — then we can seize those vehicles," Bryant said.

"We will seize it and you will never see it again. We will crush your car, we will crush the parts."

I never realized that this guy, supposedly a well educated man has the brain of a certified idiot!
Cars in general have their own yearly/biyearly tests to determine road worthiness/ emission guidelines as set up by the government...So what is he going to do? go after the new 'vette or 500 hp shelby, how about the new viper cranking out 600hp... he could also declare that the new Murcilegio @670 hp should be crushed, these are all cars that have abilities of hyper speeds ON ANY highway if the driver decided to be a moron and wind them up!

Mr Bryant, according to my legal understanding of the laws in Ontario/Canada, a crime of some sort has to be applied to the owner of said cars before you have any legal standing to proceed with your OWN interpretation of the law... you're a fool and a complete embarrassment to the citizens of Ontario.
Gee, your karma finally caught up with you and bit you GOOD on your ass,moron... lets see you wiggle your ass out of this one!

First picture of Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SV?
by Jeremy Korzeniewski (RSS feed) on Mar 2nd 2009 at 12:31PM

The doors have yet to swing open at the Geneva Motor Show, but that small detail doesn't seem to be stemming the tide of embargo-smashing images and details of the eagerly anticipated new cars and trucks contained inside, including what may be the first picture of Lamborghini's latest piece of rolling artwork, the Murciélago LP 670-4 SV. Specifications for the new raging bull are still tough to come by, but a quick dissection of the car's name reveals a peak output of 670 horsepower and all-wheel drive.

The SV (Super Velocé, or Super Fast for us non-Italian speaking types) part is aided along by a weight reduction of 100 kg (220 lbs) through the extensive use of carbon fiber and magnesium. If early reports are correct, we can expect the run to 60 to take just over 3 seconds and a top speed of 342 km/h (212 mph). Super Velocé indeed. Stay tuned for live shots just as soon as those doors to the Geneva PalExpo center are officially unlocked.
Go crush this one Mr Bryant double dare ya!!!

regardless what hes done in the past, in an unbiased opinion...I think he was totally in the right. As said before, the cyclist was in a confrontation earlier and in the back of a cruiser, the man was wasted and abusing his girlfriend, and then runs into a problem with a car on the road...whom he threatens and becomes very physical...tell me you wouldnt try to get away from the scene if you werent looking for a fight.

As for the cyclist who grabbed onto the car when he was leaving is just an idiot, being a convertible the only good thing to hang onto would have been the steering wheel which would have caused the car to turn to the otherside of the road and take out some mail boxes and probably running him over. Im sure very minimal charges will stick if any at all, although his life has drastically changed cus of this incident
