Cool May buy a Stage 3, how much and how long?

I may buy a Stage 3 this summer and was wondering how much do they go for (best price) and how long is the waiting time (if any)?

I'm looking for a 2004 Stage 3 w/o Toys & steel wheel.

They go for about $2590.92 USD here. Which is an awsome price.

look at the date it was posted 04-20-2006, 03:48 PM

price has gone up and they're much harder to get now. If I were you, I'd get the AGP Stage 3 Delta kit and it's MUCH more efficent than the mopar stage 3 and helva lot cheaper now.

You're looking at at least 2-3 months to get a kit if you're lucky.. And the cheapest I was able to find for a stage 3 full kit was 3800 or so..

A AGP kit is going to be cheaper but it's not plug and play like the Mopar kit as you need some tuning etc.. I've been researching these upgrades for a while now and STILL haven't decided which way to go..

No..

the AGP Stage 3 DELTA is already tuned. You just plug in the SCT, flash the PCM and you're DONE!

I wish I had never bought my S3, so I would had gotten the AGP S3 Delta instead.

There has been some SERIOUS problems posted about the SCT tuning!

I have a stage 3 that I am doing a bunch of work to before installing it...

To be honest, if I Was to do it all over again, I think I Would go with one of the Rage-tek kits... but that is just me... I am going ot have 420-450 that is completely user friendly so I won't be complaining!

One of suppliers mentioned to me this week, 8 to 12 weeks at best to get any Stage 3 kits now, as was stated in one of the posts. The stated price was accurate too, around $3800.00CAD.

Mmm, it's advertised 1000$ less at good US vendors web sites. For that price difference I could get the Toys and still have money to spare. But I assume the waiting time is the same.

But what's the deal with the waiting? Is it a lack of supply or too much demand?

Lack of supply.. Sometimes there will be a delay with O2 housing, next they are missing injectors etc.. etc.. I'm really leaning more and more towards AGP myself..

$2,942.85 is what we are at right now. But for the simple fact that they are undependable for ship times, etc. we have removed the ordering feature from the website. It doesn't matter where you order, the wait time will be the same as they all come from the same place. We can still order them, but I make sure anyone who orders understands that we can't be held responsible for ship times. I've been beat up too many times on issues that I can't control.

The problems are NOT with the SCT software they are with the people using it who don't understand it.

I on the otherhand know it very well and do very well with SCT.

So if I can be of any assistence, tedj@jannettyracing.com
