How easy is it to fit a new hood in the trunk/backseat??
I am going to pick up an aftermarket hood tonight.
I can run home to get the van but I am only 15 mins from the place (have the car at work).
Should I go get the van? Is it easy or requires some fun??
I have no problem getting the van if it is going to be a bit of a pain.
I thought it may slide through the trunk sideways onto the back of the rear seats??
Let me know please ASAP......

doubt it will fit in the trunk. dont risk the time you could be using to install the hood and the hood itself. i would just go get the van unless someone is 100% sure it will fit... just think... the hood is wider then the gutters of the trunk...

Get a measuring tape & measure the trunk size of ur car, and compare it to the size of the stock hood.

Didn't Viper Jr. take his c/f hood home from the Nats one year...?
So ya, it will fit...

I got a CF hood to fit in my car with no interior besides driver's seat, sun roof open, and one rear windor open. NOT FUN. VERY DANGEROUS.

I ended up getting the van.
Sounds like it would have fit, but would have been tricky. Wasn't worth the chance.
Thanks for the replies....
