ok so the other day i was driving down mavis when i came to a stop at a light. Light turns green and i go, as im driving i hit one of those stupid bumps on the road that you just cant avoid and all of a sudden the cluster and everything turns off and on twice and stays on. so i keep on driving, and now all of a sudden everytime i swich grears at low rpms the car studders for some reason and i keep hearing the wga going off everytime it studders. theres no back fire so i know it cant be the sparkplugs. oh and not to mention the engine light came on and then turned off like 20 min later. i just got the motor rebuilt about a year and a half so the one year warrenty is gone and the dealership has fucked me up the ass too manny times now. what do you guys think. i really need the help.
hmm ill have to look at that tomorrow but i doubt thats what it is because it wasnt that hard of a bump. another thing i hear is the sound of spooling becomes higher pitched at low rpms for some reason.
LOL you must have a CAI it is hitting your positive battery cable
very true although most CAI's are not chassis grounded seeing as they use rubber couplers.. and they run beside the battery not ontop once the hood goes down there wouldnt be enough clearence for the CAI to touch the top of the battery...now maybe the battery hold down broke and the battery is hitting the hood?.......But that doesnt explain the louder then normal spooling either......
take a close look under the hood when you get a chance I'm sure you will find the issue....

Have you tried resetting the PCM?

The first part of your message on the turn off/on issue definitely sounds like the CAI hit the positive part of your battery and/or cable. Last year, after we all thought my car blew up, we pulled it all a part and put it back again. Then every time I accelerated the car would turn off and back on again, beeping at me, etc. We finally figured out that the CAI was hitting the positive cable and shorting out the car. Stuck a rag between the positive cable and CAI, until a more permanent solution was found.
The other things you've noticed as a result, could be a result of the short and somethings being reset because of the short. I'd try what blksrt404 suggest and reset the PCM and check for possible boost leak and see if that helps.
