And they kicked me out of the bar before the end of the game. I have no tv, but I'll go see the highlights so I just checked the score on the net. Playoff preditctions

haha I watched that game last night, then turned it off to play some xbox, then was surprised to see it still on! I still think Dallas will win this series, and go on to the cup finals though. Hope the Canucks can pull it off - only 15 wins left!!

Honestly I dont follow other teams so I really didnt know how closely matched these two teams are... they are supposed to be the most anticipated teams to go against each other because they are so even in standings... Hopefully each game doesnt go for so long thoough.. I actually fell asleep There is usually a parade downtown whenver the canucks win a game in the playoffs... ill have to check it out on Friday.. <--see how I squeezed in the fact that I think canucks are gonna win? Sneaky huh?

^^ care to discuss why? I was kinda hoping hockey lovers could discuss the game not make statments and run off... I say let the best team win.. Id love to see my team win but we cant all get what we want. Dallas seems like a pretty tight playing team.. Ive enjoyed watching them and if they knock out vancouver then I will certainly cheer for someone else :P lol jk

GM place is on a three year sellout streak.

And I heard an official poll in the NHL that Canucks fans are the most forgiving.

thats news to me. do you have any proof? I mean no offence, but their team isnt the most exciting to watch (except maybe for luongo). Its probably the same case as in toronto where the leafs are only sold out every night because of all the scalpers and businesses buying up all the tickets. no fans actually go to the game and that is why it is always seems so quiet at the ACC on TV.

Please tell me you're kidding. You're not kidding about the businesses buying up all of the seats, but you certainly don't know wtf you're talking about when you say the seats are empty. I have been to about 7 games this year, and I don't recall seeing too many empty seats.

I think he was referring to the fact that unless its a Saturday game, the ACC is quiet as fuck. During the week its all corporate people at the game, and they sit on their hands the whole game. Saturday nights though, that place is rockin'!

Also, Sweets, sorry bud but you just lost all your credibility as a Canucks fan by telling us that you actually slept during overtime in a playoff game. There is no reason or excuse for this. I'm a Leafs fan and I stayed up for this baby. Hockey has the best playoff rules in sports. This is no time for sleeping.

Most forgiving = bandwagon jumpers.. lol

Actually, I don't watch much hockey, but I do like following the playoffs. i think a lot of fans come out when the playoffs come around. It's a totally new level of hockey over the regular season.

I have to admit though, the last half of the season has been REALLY entertaining, even for someone like me who doesn't watch hockey much.

The game last night was really incredible. Bobby Lu was unbelievable... I hope Cookie isn't seriously hurt either. He's one hell of an entertaining player to watch. I'm surprised at how balanced the two teams were, actually.

It'll be a good series

I guy I work with was with his dad in those riots, when he was 14, and his dad was shot in the ass with a rubber bullet.

Two riots in hockey history. Rocket richard and Canucks robbed out of a cup. Bandwagon jumpers my ass.

My Mom lives in Van, and every time I go there her husband takes me to a Hockey Game. Every single time, I can't wait until the game is over because I can't believe how ignorant the fans are and how they yell crap at their own team. Vancouver Fans are brutal. No respect for their team.

I'd still root for Van any day over Toronto though. I'd rather ignorant fans than arrogant fans any day.
