Well, I was over @ a friends who got a G-Tech Pro and we decided to give my SRT a run. The weight set in the G-tech,
I find now is 120 pounds less than actual, but that shouldn't make too much of a diff. This is my first attempt, 1
passenger and a real real easy launch. It was fun and all in all I'm not too dissappointed. Without the extra
weight and crappy launch I'm sure the car runs faster than shown. He also said the g-tech reading is usually slow by
about 2 tenths and 2-3mph. I'll be working on my launch for next time. http://www.85merk.com/members/gonzoz...ct03_14-49.mpg http://www.85merk.com/members/gonzoz...oz_31oct03.gif
yeah.. look great and fun to use.. of course without any traffic around.

Yep it's the new one.
He brought it to the track last week and it was 2 tenths off, almost exactly
and 2 mph off as well for his friends 4 runs that were made in a Ford Lighting.
That looks like fun i want to get one of those. Was it just me or were you shifting sort of slowly? i didnt hear any scratch when shifting.. or does the LSD prevent this? i dont think so but its worth the thought
From my expierence my GTECH Pro is pretty accurate, back when my car was alot closer to stock, I ran it through the 1/8 and the timeslip indicated 1.78 60' 7.98@91mph while the GTech Pro claimed a 1.72 60' with a 7.89@93mph. So it was pretty close with the strips times. One thing I have noticed is that its pretty senitive to weight, so if you have access to scales use them cause the more accurate the weight the more accurate the time.
