Default Dunlop Tires

ok here's the deal. Ive been looking for a new set of tires and was just going to go with the KDWs, I do like them. Now Im hearing about these Dunlop Direzza Sport tires, which are comparable with the KDWs in price. Anyways...appearance wise. Would a 215-50-17 tire on S2 mopar coilovers look better than 215-45-17 would? I really don't want a huge gap in my wheel well due to "thin rubber band tires" yet I dont want a huge sidewall looking tire. Anyone have any pictures of this size tire? doesnt have to be the same make so I can compare?? To my understanding my stock 205/50/17 sidewall would be about 5mm shorter in height than a 215/50/17. BTW I am running the stock rims.
Thanks a lot

Right on... do you have any pictures of them on your car, just to get an idea?
Thanks for replying

Kuhmo Ecsta SPT's should be available in that range. GREAT budget tire.

i went with yoko S-drives ... 205 50 ... they work just great , about 700 or so for the set ... cheaper i would suggest the general exclaim UHP ... lots of people seem to like them ... and ive seen a few people up at mosport DDT using them and they've had nothing but good things to say about them ...

If you are running stock rims the only recommended sizes are 205/50/17 and 215/50/17.

Either way best tires for the price IMO are Kuhmo SPT, General Exclaim UHP, plus a few others do a search. Or once you decide what size you want post in the wheels/tire section.
