first my temp gauge on my dash is just above the 90 mark and also
i see some pink water"coolant" just bit below the cap as you can see in the
pic so do i got a leak?
i will say check the cap? it might need to be replaced.
on my car i had similar leak(only the lower part). it was leaking from the tstat where the rubber broke.

let your car warm up first. and rev the engine to see whether coolant is leaking from the tstat(the gap under the bolt). incase you dont know how to rev the engine: rotate a knob on the throttle body (on the back on the TB rotate toward passesnger side.)
maybe you will see some coolant leaking from some other places then you will find the source. look for fresh coolant.
or you may wanna do an engine bay wash to wash off all the coolant stains. and rev the engine and look for fresh ones.
ac srt4 your a funny guy yes i know how to rev my engine but i wash around the area and it now coming from the cap it look like it come from in between.if you look in the first pic you see so could it be a gasket or a o right ?
if you can see it's leaking from between, then most likely it's the o-ring rubber.
i would check if the dealer sells the tstat and it should come with it. i wouldn't recommend the motorad (canadian tire brand) one because many people reporting defective rubber oring after several months of usage. mine (180tstat) broke after about a month after installation and broke while i was 200 km away from home. so I had to buy another defective one to put it on hope it would last long.
and in my case, when i rev the engine the coolant just leaks out of the gap below the cap. and drips onto the belt and makes horrible sounds.
regarding how to install it there is a how-to about replacing tstat, it should work. just make sure NOT to torque the 2*10mm bolt hard. otherwise you will have another leak soon.
hope this helps
not sure if it's my mistake. i see there are some coolant above that line so i wasn't expecting the leak is from the oring. in my case i could only see coolant below it and a lot of them were sitting on the black plastic piece.
