Default cold air intake fog light hole more cool air??

so is this a good idea or what i was told before that research has been done in an air tunnel with the srt4 and all of the air passes over the hood not through the fog light holes... is this true??l cuz im thinkn about chopn my intake down again so the filter sits right at that hole and taking out that fog light when racing... just an idea i actually did this with my aem intake but sold it before i ever got the chance to really use it

also has anybody used the aem F/I controller and what do u like or dislike about it.. thanks for ur time i dont like posting in the american areas too much football talk i like hockey eh

wont work.. the air doesnt flow into the foglight hole, the pvo/srt engineers already tried it and and they told me it wont work. it has to be below the fasica

I agree^^....front end of the car at speed is actually directing the air flow to the point of less resistance, the smooth curves of the hood and the racked windshield, over the roof and over the wing,There is a slight vacaum at the very back but it breaks down easy because of the stock height in the rear end...it also generates suction to travel under the flat bottom; which is why the best spot for a cold air intake is where it pulls from, right under the front
fasica. the air flow in my opinion would be greater if the car is not too lowered, the closer it is to the ground the more restricted resistance it produces.
Just make sure you also attach the shield, the shield in my opinion creates a further baffle to increase upward vacaum flow toward the airfilter, it also helps from hydro locking your motor

You'd be better off making brake ducts from the foglight holes instead of worrying about intake temps. Just get meth injection and worry about other mods on the car.

we have our air cleaner right behind the fog light hole and so do the world challenge guys they are limited to running a stock air box and make a tube that runs right down and out the fog light hole
it is not the best stop for ramming air in as it is a low pressure area but then that is why we have a turbo

I gained 1.3 mph, and almost .1 just by taking the foglight out at the track.
