Default Boost gauge Question

Anyone ever have a problem with the boost gauge not sitting at zero when the car is off ?

I just noticed it earlier in the week.
It sits between 10vac and 0 when the car is off.

Is there a way to check it ?

Stock gauge gets off alignment in cold weather. Whatever it rests at is the "new" 0; so if it rests at -5 when the car is off, and you're stock, you'll spike 9 and hold 6-7 (which is really 14, and 11-12).

I just put in a new OEM gauge every couple of years. I'm bone stock (BOV), so I have no need for a better gauge. You can find them for cheap on here in For Sale($35 shipped).

I to had a similar issue with the stock boost gauge. Replace it with another autometer gauge if your gonna run more boost in the future. I got the sport comp series to match my interior theme. Everyone has there own preference as to look and that also determine's the cost of the gauge. I do agree with (toasteroven) on the remark that if you are running stock setup, then just get an OEM replacement.
