Default anyone else get snowed in this weekend?

Me and a buddy went up north to his cottage to go sleding and ATV'n, when we got there we figured it would be all good and we just drove down the 20min 1 lane cottage road where there is a cliff going down about 35 ft ..
I know it snowed around here on Sat pretty bad but 3.5 hours up north there was seriously over 3 ft of fresh powder.. there was soo much powder on the lake that we couldnt even ride in it, it was just way too deep..
We hooked up a tow rope to the tripple and were snowboarding behind the sled in the powder it was damn fun.. We went to leave on monday afternoon thinking the road would be plowed by now and it wasnt, the road is covered in a layer 2" of ice and 2ft of snow.. We tried to trick CAA into coming but they know the road, they refuse to go down it so we payed this dude to pull us out in his ram.. also some idiot plower tried to clear it but he went like 5 ft and said fu*k it and took off and he put a pilon infront of the road like it was blocked, so when we go to the end of the road there was a 5 ft mound blocking us in from the main road.. the ram just pulled us right through that lol.. it was fun weekend but i am glad to be home and not to mention the numerous times of getting stuck in the sled and atv.. anybody else get snowed in or stuck from the storm?

I considered going to the cottage on Friday. Our cottage road isn't is bad as it sounds like yours is. However, after arriving home Friday evening, seeing how slippery the roads were and knowing how much snow was expected on Saturday I decided to stay home instead.

Heh. Snow. It's been spring here (inland from the west coast) for a full month now. The trees are budding, and new stuff is growing out of the ground.

I dunno how anyone can tolerate the weather out east....

Taken in my laneway on Saturday. That's my girlfriend's Jetta. The SRT-4 was nice and cozy in the garage.
