You need to post a datalog to know what you're talking about.
What can't you figure out?

you need to know exactly what is going on at that moment, what the AFRs are, intake temp, boost, rpm, throtle angle with out that info all you can do is "hack tune" and put band aids on it (add fuel remove timing)

Sound like you have issues with the COT. Send us your tune and we will shut it off for free as well as adjust the knock sensor settings.

If you have the time to call us (try around 3pm PST) and I can walk you through the process for creating a datalog.

Send it to tunes@pt-performance.com with some details and a way to contact you.

Thanks.

I am sure you have already looked at this but I had "hitting the wall feeling" and for me it was 2 things.

Plug Blow out. What are your plugs gapped at?
Boost leak that would not show itself till 5k or prolonged boost.

T-bolt band clamps and .035gap with 4306 fixed my wall good

Hmm, the fact that is showing up after fixing a boost leak makes me still be suspect of the plugs. I have seen some guys running .032 and even .028 on stg 2/3 cars making lots of boost.

I read somewhere the "rule" to following is go as wide as you can without blow out, if you are getting blow out lower the gap.

If it was me I would re-gap lower just for shits and giggles and if that does nothing than I am sure PTP will have a better answer.

I maybe over simplifying things though, I tend to try and find the simplest solution first and start adding time and money as they "easy" fixes fail.

I assure you it isn't COT since I already disabled it. I have the logs to prove it. As for the KR sensitivity I left it alone seeing as it is a STG2 PCM and already has reduced sensitivity.

you do make a great point. i will take care of the gap tomorrow and maybe the rain will hold off so i can see what it does. i know that it has to be something simple due to the fact that a friend of mine is having the same problem with different mods. he lowered his boost to about 15 psi and it stopped the "wall" until 120mph. just seems a little odd that we're both doing it. im waiting to see what ptp has to say about my tune that i sent them. this is a very frustrating problem to have. thanks for everyone's help.
