Default updates??

Alrighty .. I looked through a bunch of threads and read a wack of info .. But I have a few questions:

With this said I have my car pretty much dialed in at 11.2-11.6 a/ across the board !

1. The idle rev setting .. I set it and figured that with the clutch pushed to the floor it would tell the pcm its in neutral .. Umm no!!

Cause if I drove the car on the street or if I was parked or if I set my rev limit to 6550 where I want it still just redlined where I set the max idle rpm ... Bummer!!

Now my question is there a update these guys at dsp can do so it reconizes the signal from ur clutch .. Which allows u to start ur car!! Let u have a quick and easy 2 step setup !

2. When u advance timing - or retard - is that from what its been preset at in the tune u have on ur car?

If that's the case it has like 2-4 degrees advance at some rpm points which seems low to me? So correct me and feel free to educate me ! Thanks

I have a delta 55 twin ball bearing setup, dw650 injectors ... Stg 2 bc cams .. And every supporting mod u can imagine

Once again sorry if this has been answered before!!

The rev limiter works for the drive function but not for the rev limiter in neutral. The neutral rev limiter is for the PT cruisers. I dont think that diablo will be adding a 2 step function anytime soon. Also the actual spark count is with both your tuners adjustments and yours. so if your tune was made with 20* at 3k and you added 2* to it. You would see the actual spark count of 22* there on the handheld.

Default excellent

Thanks a lot kason23 ... For the clearification there ..

I wonder if they will have a low throttle setting and u can choose from 2 percentages to allow for leaner or more rich idle/part throttle ...

U know they can .. I'm just wondering why they haven't!

By the sounds of what I want I should have went with a full blown aem standalone setup I guess! Lmao

The PCM operates in closed loop mode at idle and under part throttle conditions. This means that fueling is adjusted according to O2 sensor feedback. The O2 sensors' "switching point" occurs at a lambda of 1.00 or approximately 14.7:1 for gasoline. When operating in closed loop mode the AFR's will always be around 14.7:1; this is a limitation of the PCM NOT the DiabloSport Predator. In other words, you will never have the ability to lean/richen idle of part throttle fuel mixture.

Why would you want to richen your idle or part throttle fuel mixture anyway? Leaning the mixture can increase fuel mileage but there would be no benefit to running it richer...

Anyway, just FYI... And for what it's worth, I'll take DSP over EMS for a street car anyday.
