ok i have been reading like a mad man on here trying to figure this out on my own. but i am frustrated.
i have done a couple 3rd gear passes came up with 5.000 st knk
1.5 Lt at 4800rpm i added 10% fuel and took some timing out i have tried to add timing, i took away boost and with all that i got it down to 4 stknk and
0 Lt knk. i was wondering how do i post my log on here im a little retarded right now. thanks.

E-mail me your log at jbailey[at]whitehack.org. I'll host it for you.
Also, that sounds a bit odd that you had LT knock on one run, but not another. LT knock is a learned parameter and shouldn't "go away" unless you reset the PCM.
Please review this thread: What Parameters to Datalog - and record another log with them. You can e-mail it over when you got it and I'll host it again.

Very first thing have you...
Boost leak checked the car
Checked your spark plugs
Do you have good plug wires on the car
Next, you were going the correct direction to get the most out of the car but you stopped short of getting it all put together.
i would greatly appreciate everyones input good or bad i realllllly want to learn more and as much as i can. boost leak test is good and plugs are good wires are good too i have a msd coil but i am going to put my stock one on right now and see what that does.

You have my feedback...I'd still suggest logging the proper parameters, recording another log and sending it to me.
But PTP is right about general maintenance. No matter how good the tune is, if your car isn't running right mechanically, you're going to have issues. Spark plugs, plug gap, plug wires, coilpack and air filter are very basic things you can check.

This is not true. Long term knock will get corrected if the PCM doesn't see knock in that range for a while. I believe people have seen it corrected in as few as 3 pulls. It is possible that this is what happened between pulls.

Yes, we have seen this as well. LT will adjust if there is nothing recorded in the ST for 3 consecutive events (WOT pulls). On the caliber you can actually watch the LT counter count backwards, same thing with the Neon.... you just don't get to watch it count down the LT timing.
ok just like you said step by step
bought new plugs gapped
put stock coil pack on
new wires
still did it
started reading everyones datalogs and played with my settings a little more
spike 21 falls to 18 right before redline the at red line its at 16
added a little more fuel and then i looked at how much timing was being pulled so i added 2deg and then did some more 3rd gear passes every run i watched everything fall little by little after 7 little runs i was at 0Lt knk and 0st knk........aahhhhhhhh finally.. i give all of u that do tuning at write tunes mad props. thanks for everyones help and input.
