I switched out my PTP WGA for stock and bought some vacuum lines to put it back to stock. The only line i didn't hook up was the red line because i think its hooked to my meth kit for boost control i guess i can tee into it. Would this prevent boost from building?
It seems i am boosting 12-14psi on the gauge when before i used to spike 18 down to 14. Haven't had much time to test it yet fully but tried raising boost % up to 15 gradullay all through out the range and taking it out for a spin each time but seems to make no difference. This is with the modified PTP tune with COT turned off and knock sensitivity turned down. I used vacuum lines that are bigger then stock but zip tied them all tightly. Any ideas?

Yes, you need the redline hooked up. With my slightly modified 93tune and stock wga I spike 19psi and hold about 14.5psi@6Krpm
It is possible that PTP didn't increase boost since you weren't using PCM boost control. It depends what file you gave them.
email me this "modified tune" and I can check it. dave@trojahn,com

It seems to be working now, tested after teeing the red line and now spiking 16-17 down to 14 i believe. I'll be doing more testing on and off, it was below 40 this morning and i have it still increasing boost 15% throughout the range so still seems kinda low but like i said maybe its the weather..

Be sure to make boost changes on a hot engine.
Remmember your boost will be lower for cold ACT and ECT. If the engine is below ~175F, the PCM will limit boost up to 2-3psi.

Ok yeah thanks looking at the gauge it seemed warmed up at the time. I need to do some logging and take a look at the wideband see whats going on with the AFR. I was just gladed it spiked above 15psi first time out.
