Default S256, Stg 1 PCM, PCM Boost

Had a customer from New York attending a wedding about a hour away, so he decided to drop his car off for some installs. He came down with the following mods:

3" TBE
AEM CAI
FM WGA
Greddy Profec B EBC
coldside hard pipe with RFL

Here are the mods I installed:

AGP BW S256 kit
AGP returnline
DW 750cc inj
AGP MM's
cut B/S chain
NGK 4306 plugs and Granetelli Wires
DCR oil flow mod
Walbro 255
parts to set up car for PCM boost on externally gated turbo
AGP FMIC
4" intake
Mini Battery Kit
A-pillar dual gauge pod
AEM w/b
Aeroforce scan gauge

I THINK that's it. lol. The car was dropped off at 6:30pm Wednesday. I worked till 1am Thursday morning. Did the day job till 6:00pm and installs where complete last night around 12:30-1am. Today was tuning day.

We where worried about the Stg1 PCM doing PCM boost, but since the customer was ill informed by who he bought the car from that he had Stg2 and 3 bars we thought we where gonna be working with a Stg2 car. PCM boost worked quite well though, so we where very happy that we can now say PCM boost will work on a externally gated turbo and Stg1 when set up right.

The RFL BOV was leaky (not around BOV, but BOV itself) and the leak intensified as boost pressure increased. So that hurt the numbers. It wouldn't allow over 12psi during a boost leak test.

On 93 pump and 21psi in made 340whp and 340tq on our Mustang Dyno . We attempted to do race gas, but as the boost increased the leak got worse and we couldn't do 25psi on 110 like we planned.

Once the customer fixes his BOV we will use e-mail to correct any boost issues he may have due to the distance between us.

I'll try to get the graph up in the coming days/week.

I think the S256 has great power potential and I wish we could have extracted it all from this car.

Zipties FTW!

Lol. He brought all the parts down with him. He has been stock piling them for months. He dropped a spare tranny off me to build when he has the funds.

So would I. I was expecting 400whp on race gas. It's how things go though when you start modifying cars.

A little extra vibration. If you have solid mounts you'll notice it more. Nothing excessive though.

Awwsheet,

That sounds like a plan. I'm going on a vacation sometime that month, I think, but hopefully our schedules will work out.
