Duster, if anyone wants the threshold changed I would be willing to do this for free. I would need the current tune they are running on and if there are some other "special" changes that need to be made I will consider doing these for a greatly reduced fee.

We have always changed the knock sensor settings with all our custom tunes or with the 93 tune when we install on them on a locals car, its just as easy to make these changes via email tune. Let me know if you guys want in on this, just my way of saying thanks.

93 octane tunes is what I am addressing. If they got tuned by a CMR dealer, they should have known to change these tables from the get go, hence they wouldn't have this problem .

Send your 93 tune over to tunes@pt-performance.com and we will get a form for you to fill out and then get your adjustments made.

So if you change the threshold on the knock sensor, how aggressive can you get with timing boost and fuel?

Not much over what the 93 tune has to offer. If you don't have any knock to start with then you can get pretty agressive if you have additional bolt on's to support the timing.

I was just informed that the threshold was changed on my tune but for some reason I can't get to aggessive with my timing and boost/fuel or I'll still knock. Sux!
