Default Knock At 2k To 4k!!

Hi I have had this issue for a long time with knock on my car. I now have a built motor and 50trim kit with 19-22lbs of boost and 100 meth and port fueler and predator. My ave air fuel ratio at wot is 11.3-11.9. I keep getting knock even in 5th gear flooring it and it starts when i get 2lbs of boost and it will ramp up to 3-4k of knock and lower a little as boost raises. Some time i get as much as 9.5knock just by flooring it for 3 seconds. Im thinking its a vibration noise, I have changed plugs, wires, coil, retorque exh bolts..... any ideas???... Ive also taken timing to -6 degress.....

Incorrect Knock sensor torque
Noisy forged pistons
Hard trans mount
high static compression

port fueler doesn't mess with the map sesnor does it? Im thinking no.

Datalog like a mofo and see exactly when its comming in.

well it does have a map clamp on it and i have 8.0 compression and no solid trans mount but i do have solid motor mounts, and torqued to specs

Yes, 195 in-lb. be sure your wrench reads in-lb and not ft-lb. Otherwise 195ft-lb = 16.25 ft-lb

interesting that the hemi's use the exact same sesnor but only torque it to 176in-lb. I heard rumors of the knock sensor being too sensitive and I have thought to experiment with different Torques. I think I'll test this lower torque setting.

I'd ditch the clamp, recheck the Knock sesnor torque and retest.

note: When i say "retest" I mean DATALOG and not just eyeball some stupid guage.
