Default INSANE timing!! need help!!

Like the title says....I loaded the stock tune and i tried the 93 performance tune and both times at WOT full bost im seeing like 38 deg. of timing. I touched nothing before the pull and it is just adding some insane timing. also i thought i was going to have to pull fuel but it was actually running lean on only 13 psi. I would post the log but i dont know how. oh and mods are in sig. there is no way i should have to be adding fuel at only 13 psi with my fuel system... i dont get it....

At thirteen psi you will get a ton of timing...thats why map clamps and piggy backs add timing. The computer sees low boost adds timing, well it doesn't really add it its just doing what the tables in the pcm call for..but that does seem like a lot.Is it pulling timing because of knock?

03silversrt4, you need to get you Pcm programmed for your injector size and 0 out the Dtec.

He didn't touch his DTEC and just loaded in the 93 tune.
If he had is Dtec tuned in for the stock Pcm, the 93 should give him considerably leaner A/F. Just as the 93tune brings the stock and Stage WOT A/F from mid 10s to low 12s, it will do the same for 03silversrt4. What ever he was "pulling with the Dtec just made it that much leaner. I can't comment on the timing being a bit high, but I bet its just the Dtec.

ok well before i installed the DS I cleared my dtec. But today i went to go look at it and for some reason the map was back. So i cleared it again then i unpluged it then booted it up again and this time it actually cleared. So later today i will go do another pull and see how it goes. But thanks for all of the responses guys!!! and ill let you know how it goes.

Well i just did a couple pulls and did some tuning on it and it is MUCH better. Im running really rich now so im going to turn up the boost and lean it out some more but I LOVE this thing! tunning it is really easy! So the problem was the dtec but its fixed. Now I just need a 3.5 bar map sensor so i can really crank it up
