how to tell if my DSP is unlocked???

does anyone know how to tell if the DSP is unlocked. I just got it back from DS and they said it was reset and updated with all the new firm/software. Is there anyway i can tell if its ready to be applied to another SRT-4. I was under the impression that it was but i just want to make sure. I asked the same question on the DS forums hoping for a quick reply.

my question is

is RESET and UNLOCKED the same thing?

Why would you want to use it on another SRT-4 and not your own?

ex is fighting me for the car so im selling off all the parts and the car pretty much a long story short. i had an issue with the tuner not restoring the stock tune thats why i sent it back to diablosport.

pm'd you squigy123. The DSP isn't unlocked that you sent. I wish I would have seen this and the other post about it not restoring the stock tune before I bought it.

You can send the unit back to stock, just send it out to DS... they should be able to fix it.

hence why i was skeptical, and sent him a pm..and he insisted that it was restored. sounds like he had a good scam goin on!

nah no scam. i pmed and reposted on the diablosport site hoping for an answer back from mike there.

here is the pm i got from mike asking if the dsp could be applied to another srt4.

"yes, it will then work on any other srt4"

that was from mike from diablosport.
