As long as the MAP sensor is the actual problem and its not really a wiring issue, this sensor will work just fine as a replacement.

just did this mod. very simple straight as a whistle. used a grinder wheel to modify the sensors. did nothing on the manifold. be careful with the harness when cutting the tape off. its pretty hard and you can cut a wire easily. great instructions.

Okay so i am thinking about purchasing the Mopar Performance 3 Bar MAP Sensor/TIP SENSOR & Adapter Package from modernperformance. I am kinda confused on what is exactly needs to be done to the TIP sensor to make it fit on the white line. I am assuming the MAP sensor with the MPX adapter is just plug and play? Now the TIP portion i am not sure on what needs to be done...

I have a set of stage 2 injectors that were given to me and i have a DCR walbro 255 bypass modded fuel pump on the way. I wanted a re-scale done by a vendor here and thought I might as well get these in before I order a re-scale just for the injectors..

You need to essentially grind off the locking tab on the sensor and make it into the shape of a hose barb or you won't have a way to hook a hose into it. The sensor is designed to be keyed into the manifold then turned and lock into place. You have to eliminate that portion to use it as a tip sensor.
