How to data log, get to pc, get to sender - SRT Forums

So i know how to data log on my DSP. I got the cable and disk for it, but have no clue on how to get the data log to my computer... Any step by step instructions would be great... I did search and all i find is the ling to dsp, which gives me jack shit for info... then also need to then know how send it/attach it... Thanks everyone...

Download Diabloport dataviewer

If you dont have a laptop, plug your DSP into your car, pick the things you would like to record, hit record, and do a WOT pull. Repeat.

Once you have the info you want, plug the power chord itno the DSP, then the data cable in and plug that into your computer. Open dataviewer, hit open log, and save it to your desktop.

i dont even know what dataviewer is... Once i get to that part i think i should be good.

you can download it off diablosports website.

just google Diablosport Data viewer. Im sure it will come up

So i did do a log on my dsp... but was for like 10 seconds and then un plugged it... do i let it log till it stops the hook it up to my computer and search? or what?

Got dataviewer now from dsp

Just hit record on the hand held before you do the pull at about 3000 RPMS then hit esc after you are done doing the pull. Then bring it inside and hook up the cords to the DSP and you can open up and view the log through the DS Dataviewer.

SRTrent... PTP doesn't want me to do a pull when data logging... Just one at idle so they can adjust a few things before i drive.... The car has had a few changes since it was last started. lol.

So when I get the tune off the dsp is saves it as a log... ptp in order to tune needs a drg format... how to get my log to be drg format?

You have to use DSDownloader to get tune files. Dataviewer is for log files only.

So I downloaded the dsdownloader... but can't seem to get it to retreive my log... tool reads unplug and try again... and the program won't responder... ready to throw this thing against the wall...

Well with the help of a tech at ds... figured out I didn't have the original back up on my dsp... got it all set and emailed a copy of the drg format file to john at ptp... never email me back on it not working... so think I'm all set... thanks again for everyones help
