Default Feedbacks on 93 octane tune?

ive heard the tune that comes with dsp's make the car run lean. for the people that only loaded the 93 octane with no other custom tuning. how do you like it? feel a noticable difference? how did the logs look? what were your a/f ratios at?

im planning to run 18/19psi with the agp wga(off pcm controlled boost) and dsp 93 octane tune(this is on stock turbo, stage1 pcm and other minor bolt ons). do you think i should put the stage2 injectors on that i have in my garage?

I think the stages 2s will be needing to run 18/19psi without knocking. Past 16psi for me is when I get some knock (I'm on stage 1 inj.)

You can modify the 93 octane tool. IDK how easy it is, but I know it's done on the handheld. I think people add 10% fuel somewhere but don't quote me.

thanks for your response. im wondering how much the a/f's will go up with the 93octane tune loaded. im running 17psi spike wastegate controlled boost right now with stage1 injectors. my wideband read 10.8 low rpm's and 11.2 high rpm's during wot. i also have a scangauge to monitor knock retard and there was no knock during numerous wot runs.

Flash the tune and try it out. Although it is probably a little bit colder in NY now, so you may want to remove some boost. All cars react differently though, so you are just going to have to try it. Oh, and use the DSP to log your runs.
