To update it you have to put the stock tune back on your car. Then plug in the DSP to your computer, open up the DSDownloader, and make sure it's configured to your specific handheld (U7134). It should take a few minutes and then recognize the DSP. After it does click on "Send CROM file to Tool", find the file you saved on your computer from the DSP update website, click on it and there you go. It will ask you to power cycle the DSP and then it will update it. Hope that helps.

go to the dsp website and go to support and doanloads look up our tool part# witch is u7134 scroll down and look for the new update that is 9r18 down load that file and then do what ORSRT-4 told u to do
Don't worry I found that So after I put the crom file on my DSP I just plug it back into the car and do a custom 93 tune again or do I have to import it or something?
what cables are you using? are the drivers for the cables installed correctly? many serial-usb cables are not vista compatible, which renders the dsp useless if you have them.

The ones I got in the PTP group buy. It has a blue end on each side. One is the USB side I'm guessing that plugs into the computer and the other blue side plugs into the DSP.
sounds like you have the same cable as I have. It works just fine with vista. Make sure you have downloaded the appropriate driver on the same page you downloaded the CROM file from. Also, may be a stupid question but..do you have the DSP plugged in to power as well as to your computer??
i had the same problem my computer couldnt find the damn tool lol and i have3 vista every 1 was telling me to download the driver bla bla take it off and try again all that stuff i did and nothing SO what i did was removed the driver for the cable that i downloaded from dsp and just plugged my usb to serial wire back to my computer with out the diablo plugged in and my computer found the driver it self and download it and i was golden
